Made from top quality US bridle leather – medium size in light tan
Fits Most Horses – Cob, TB (same size as medium beta)
This bridle is used, with some visible signs of use but plenty of life left
As with all used leather we sell, this has been cleaned and treated with Urad leathercare products.
Western leather headstalls are made out of premium #1 grade Wickett & Craig USA tanned bridle leather. Edges are dyed with a beautiful hand rubbed finish for the feel that you can only get from top quality leather. All hardware is stainless steel and will not rust. Finished off with a stainless steel star concho and leather tie at browband.
There is plenty of adjustment on the Dr Cook Bitless Bridles, and on the Western there is room to punch extra holes if needed. This is the same size as medium in Dr Cook’s beta bridle, so if the medium beta fits your horse, then this medium Western leather will fit too.
|Medium||35” – 45” (84 cm – 109 cm)||19” – 24” (48 cm – 61 cm)|
To measure your horse
Measure 1½” to 2” (approx 3 – 5 cm) up from the corner of the horse’s mouth. From that point, measure the circumference of the horse’s nose (noseband).
From that same point (1½” – 2” (3 – 5 cm) up from the corner of the horse’s mouth), run your tape measure up the side of the face, around the poll (behind the ears) to the same point on the other side of the face (headstall).
* Another way of getting the headstall measurement is to measure (from 1½” – 2” [3 – 5 cm] up from the corner of the horse’s mouth) to the very top of the poll (to the point right between the ears) and double that measurement.
