EquiNectar is a functional feed for horses, a tasty syrup with pleasant flavour & smell. It contains digestive enzymes, vitamins & minerals which help to stabilise your horse’s gut biome and contribute to healthy gut function. Simply add to your horse’s usual feed, even the fussiest horses love their EquiNectar!

It is made from malted barley, and is free from pesticides & fertiliser residues. EquiNectar was developed to utilise the enzymes from barley to benefit your horse’s digestion.

The 1malting process begins with steeping of barley grain; followed by germination (which takes 4 days) and finally the kilning process where the malted barley grains are heated to stop the germination at the optimum point to leave us with grain which is rich in enzymes.

Then the malt extract is concentrated and small amount of coconut oil added to help it stay liquid in cold weather, also a small amount of preservative to give it a 12 month shelf life.
