A super strong slow feeding net with 25 mm holes, which are fixed, so there’s no stretching. This net will hold a standard UK small rectangular bale of hay. Ideal for sharing or for track systems. The Small Bale Net is handmade with premium materials, and comes with a fixing kit which gives you plenty of choice in how to fasten and use it.
It can be used with the bale on the ground as shown in the gallery, or hang it horizontally or vertically a little way from the ground (horses shouldn’t be reaching up to eat) either with a full bale inside, or loose hay or haylage (imagine a giant hay net!)
We do not recommend ground use of this net with shod horses, unless used inside a container to stop them pawing it, otherwise they risk getting a shoe caught.
